An Organic Community Farm & Social Prescribing Hub
A place where food, nature, and people come together. We grow fruit trees that nourish Oxford's colleges, and we are growing something just as important alongside them: a community rooted in care, wellbeing, and mutual support.

Our Story
At Project Bagh, we grow more than food — we grow community. Nestled in Oxfordshire, our 100% organic farm brings heritage crops, restorative education, and social prescribing to life.
Bagh exists to provide a safe, welcoming space where people can develop, heal, and grow—at their own pace, and together.
Through our “Farm to Fork” partnership with the University of Oxford, and collaborations with local schools, restaurants, and community projects, we deliver fresh, seasonal produce while supporting wellbeing, diversity, and the local economy.
Our Commitment
Our Farm to Fork partnerships and wider collaborations are built on a triple-bottom-line principle: restoring ecosystems, reinforcing local food economies, and fostering community wellbeing.
We believe that true flavour and nutrition begin with healthy soil.
Every piece of fruit sold to an Oxford College directly funds our social mission.
We are committed to transparent, ethical expansion.
Our Philosophy
We believe you cannot have human health without soil health. By eschewing chemicals, we ensure that every child who handles our soil, every bee that visits our blossom, and every student who eats our fruit is interacting with nature in its purest form.
Zero synthetic inputs, protecting the delicate ecosystem of our fruit and nut trees.
A vital habitat for pollinators and local wildlife across Oxfordshire.
Produce isn't just local; it's a testament to a cleaner, kinder way of farming.

Heritage & Rare Varieties
Our vision has always been to embrace inclusion and diversity—not just in people, but in nature itself. We nurture rare and heritage varieties that you won't find on supermarket shelves, each with its own story, flavour, and character.
This orchard is more than land and trees. It is a living tribute to love—for growing and for the beauty that blooms when we nurture difference.

9.5% ABV · Organically Curated
Crafted from carefully selected heritage apples grown in our orchard. Slow-fermented and matured over an extended period, developing depth, softness, and layered aromatics — balancing natural sweetness with gentle acidity and a refined orchard finish.
Each batch reflects the season it was grown in. Limited production.
Unhurried. Expressive. Rooted in the land.
4.5% ABV · Organically Curated
Made from a curated blend of our orchard apples, this naturally fermented cider delivers a bright, expressive profile. Fresh orchard acidity meets subtle tannin structure, creating a crisp yet rounded mouthfeel with a clean, modern finish.
Slow fermentation allows the fruit to speak clearly — layered, balanced, and quietly distinctive.
Minimal intervention. Maximum character.
Pure · Single Origin · Seasonal
Produced by our resident hives, fed entirely on the wildflowers, fruit blossom, and hedgerow flora that surround the orchard. Each jar captures the unique floral signature of the season — from delicate spring blossom notes to the deeper, amber warmth of late summer.
Raw, unfiltered, and never blended. Harvested by hand in small quantities.
From hive to jar. Nothing added, nothing taken away.
What's Next
We are ready to build our year-round hub for Oxfordshire schools and mental health charities. We're now looking for partners.
A welcoming sheltered venue designed for educational programmes, team away days, private workshops, and social events — allowing meaningful connection with the orchard in every season.
A safe, private space for mental health workshops, counselling, and community tea-talks.
A dedicated, clean space for processing our organic honey, walnuts, and seasonal orchard produce — supporting our Farm to Fork commitment from harvest to table. Designed with future growth in mind, the facility will allow us to expand into additional value-added products as our orchard matures.
Collaborations
Growing our network of partners across Oxfordshire to deepen our community impact.
Schools Programme
Local schools have expressed strong interest in participating in our “Cultivating Communities with Future Food Growers” programme — bringing pupils weekly to learn hands-on food production and healthy living.
Oxford Colleges
We are developing a dedicated orchard space for small team retreats and away days.
As our barn takes shape, we would be welcoming carefully curated group bookings — offering seasonal, land-connected experiences designed to reconnect teams with food, place, and perspective.
Our permanent all-weather space is currently under construction and will expand year-round availability.
Enquiries are welcome.
Emerging Partnerships
We are building collaborative relationships with aligned organisations to deliver joint community events and volunteer exchange, outdoor wellbeing and skills-based programmes, and shared digital support to enhance outreach and coordination.
Get Involved
Our twice-monthly get-togethers are a time to tend the land and ourselves. Share what brings you to the garden.
Project Bagh is a work in progress, and so are we. We meet twice a month to tend the land, share the space, and build our future Barn. This form is designed to help you reflect on why you want to be here and how we can grow together.
"At Project Bagh, we believe that as we tend the trees, the trees tend us. Thank you for wanting to grow with us."
